As a long-standing fan of New World Mall, I'm always in search of alternatives and there are plenty in Flushing. Overall, this food court is nice. It's similar in offerings to New World Mall, but maybe a bit more limited (less dumplings, less hotpot, less buns). Take a peruse around and I'm confident you'll find something you'll want. We ended up trying 5 of the spots in 1 sitting and some were hits with some misses. The prices are nice, as are similar malls. And it behooves you to bring cash. Come with an open mind and an empty stomach and you're sure to find something to appease it.

Good decent food court, has many Chinese cuisine from different parts of Asia. Very very authentic Asian food options in This food court. The price is also very acceptable, no tips required. Just like other American food court, you pay, pick up the food from the stall and throw away in the trash when you're done. My go to stall is the Wenzhou cuisines, golden corner spot, and ordering the braised pork chop with rice noodles. The pork is so tender and it falls right off the bone, delicious. I also like to go to the 8090 spots to get some Taiwanese cuisine snacks like pop corn chicken, and their delicious entree steak and eggs. Over all this place is pretty clean and the best part is they have an active parking lot, small but a car watcher. You can park in even though it's pack and leave your keys in the vehicle and if someone needs to move in or out, they will move it for you and set you in a good parking spot. Places like Main Street to get free parking is impossible.

Even if you don't speak or read Chinese, let your eyes and nose do all the work here. There's no way you wont be able to find something you want to devour on the spot. Brightly lit seating area that probably isn't for many, but when in Rome, you just go with it. Especially when the food here is that good. If you're visiting the area, definitely worth a stop.

If New World Mall was a superhero, New York Food Court would be her trusty sidekick. While the New World Mall is bustling with energy and crowds, NYFC is usually a calm oasis (relatively). Throughout my many visits, it has always been refreshingly empty, a hidden gem amidst the chaos. I used to come here for some spicy and slightly sour noodles, but sadly, that place has since closed down. Wasn't sure what it was called either, dammit! Now, my primary mission is their hand-pulled noodles -- braised beef noodles, to be precise. If you've read my New World Mall review, you'll know I have a serious weakness for these noodles. The hand-pulled noodles stall here, Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles, rivals its competitor, Lanzhou Handmade Noodles, and is even a buck cheaper (last time I checked). The quality here is top-notch, and the noodles are perfectly slurp-worthy. They have an all-you-can-get pickled veggie and chili oil station, which is a major plus! And if you need something to wash down all that delicious food, they've got you covered with refreshing drinks like tea and yogurt (orrrr it might have been soy milk) in the fridge. But wait, there's more! NYFC now boasts a new stall: Xie Bao (read here: https://www.grubstreet.com/article/xie-bao-crab-roe.html), where they serve crab roe noodles and xiao long bao (XLB). I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but people are always raving about this spot, and I've seen it pop up on Instagram a few times.

Got an amazing duck and rice set here! For $12 dollars I could get a whole meal with rice. Absolutely delicious There was a ton of different vendors to choose from. The only thing was there was no real AC or if there was it was very weak. So it got hot in there. The food comes out pretty fast atleast!

This is for dream factory. I thought they closed down but they are back! And great as usual. I felt nauseous and sad for the whole because I I craved for their pasta, and here it is :) loved it, loving it, will continue to love this place.

I really love this place, I come here about once every three months. There are so many stalls with so many great foods to choose from. there is a constant flow of people and delivery app people. Much of the food is made to order and many of the noodles are hand pulled. The place can get crowded, but has many seats and tables to accommodate.

If dry hot pot has a million fans, I am one of them. If dry hot pot has one fan, I'm that one. If dry hot pot has no fans, I am gone from this world. If the world is against dry hot pot, then I am against the world. I will profess my love for dry hot pot to anyone who will hear it and I am eternally grateful for New York Food Court for providing me one of my favorite foods. Compared to New World Mall's food court, this place is like a desert (it's not actually that empty, but NWM is packed like a can of sardines at all times) meaning you can actually find seating! Hooray! And they're only a short walk away from each other so if you were planning on eating in NWM, just come here instead. Only con about this place is the universal con for all restaurants/food courts in Flushing - it's kinda dirty. The floors are icky, the tables are usually icky, the door is heavy and hard to open but you're scared to get a good grip on the handle because that's icky too. Don't talk to me about the bathroom because I don't want to know. And you'll probably be treated better if you know some Chinese, which is par for the course in Flushing.

Have to write a separate review for this dumpling spot at New York Food Court. Last time we ordered their pork dumping. It came out perfectly crispy with the filling/meat so very juicy. It was kinda pricey for how much we got but was def worth it for how good it was. More recently, the hubby ordered "crab dumpling" expecting the similar gyoza style pan fried dumpling we got last time. Our order came out in a metal steamer filled with... soup dumpling? We took it as is with no complaints bc a soup dumpling is never a bad mistake. And dare I say it was one of the best soup dumplings I've ever had?? Hands down better than nan Xiang or Shang hai you garden. The dumpling skin was very thin, soup was delicious and doesn't have the fatty texture/taste that you'd sometimes get. The crab tasted fresh and balanced out the pork flavor. Will 100% be back for their soup dumplings and to try out their other menu items!
